Lecture: Metacommunity networks structure and biodiversity patterns
Dr Ana Ines Borthagaray Peradotto is a professor at the “Universidad de la República/ Centro Universitario Regional Este – UDeLaR” (Maldonado, Uruguay). She obtained a PhD degree in Biological Sciences with emphasis on Ecology (2011) and since then has worked with macroecology, spatial patterns, metacommunities and ecological networks. She has been working on significant projects developing and applying network theory in ecological systems. Her emphasis has been on spatial structure and dispersal as a driver of diversity. Since 2014 she is leading the research group “Theory of Networks and socio-environmental development”.
